WHere is a simplified interpretation of a drink featured on a new cocktail list. It's a party-sized pre-mixed that's packed with tastes of a festive period, rendering it ideal for a festive gathering. Save the extra citrus syrup for brunch beverages, sweets, or for another batch of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 servings
For the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
For the Cordial: Put every components into a pan, bring to a simmer, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, take off the burner allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Pour into an sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around a month.
For the Batch Mix: Mix all the liquids into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain best through muslin, to ensure it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your cocktail base into your stirring glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for one minute to cool it down. Strain to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, top with the cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
